Who we're looking for:

We're currently seeking a 'Sales Manager/Sales Director Designate' based at our Micheldever headquarters to be responsible for developing and delivering a successful commercial strategy across the business through key activities and processes geared towards further business growth. This progressive role is ideally suited to a person wanting to take their career to the next level. This is an influential position with a great deal of autonomy to drive the company's sales and marketing activities forward.

Responsibilities:

  • To develop and execute business strategies across the sales and marketing functions that deliver sustained growth in accordance with strategic plans​
  • To direct commercial activity that maximises the potential of the company's products and services to deliver against defined targets
  • To deploy initiatives aimed at identifying new business opportunities and commercial contracts and to monitor competitor activity​
  • To ensure the CRM system is being used effectively to provide a productive sales pipeline and lead-tracking process
  • To manage machinery stock requirements, demonstration programmes and hire fleets​
  • To manage sales, marketing and promotional activities
  • To oversee and support the sales administration process​es
  • To attend shows/events, conferences, supplier meetings and site visits and to represent the company as required.​

Skills required:

  • Minimum three years previous agricultural sales and staff management experience
  • A solid track record of achieving sales growth and delivering results in line with business objectives​
  • Good, in-depth knowledge of the agricultural/horticultural sector​
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels​
  • Strong organisation skills
  • A good level of computer literacy​

Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, we're currently seeking a dynamic, experienced and highly-motivated individual for the territory-based position of Area Sales Manager. The role involves selling high quality agricultural equipment from some of the world's leading manufacturers including JCB, New Holland, Kuhn and others.​

Responsibilities:

  • To develop and maximise sales opportunities, respond to customer enquiries and build lasting business relationships
  • To accurately monitor and manage the sales process from planning to delivery
  • To ensure all customer requirements and timeframes are met
  • To identify new product/market opportunities
  • To attend exhibitions, trade shows, supplier meetings and site visits and to represent the company as required

Skills:

Who we're looking for:

We're currently seeking a highly-motivated Sales Trainee to be based at each of the following locations:

  • Our Micheldever depot (Head Office) near Winchester, Hants.
  • Our Coombe Bissett depot near Salisbury, Wilts.
  • Our East Ilsley depot near Abingdon, Oxon.

These exciting and rewarding roles offer a superb opportunity to embark on or progress your sales career in the agricultural industry working alongside our world-leading partners that include JCB, New Holland, Kuhn and other​s.​

The roles will be mostly office-based for 12-24 months to build knowledge and skills and to support the existing sales team. Once the training has been successfully completed a territory will be allocated along with a company car.

Trainee Agricultural Service Manager - Horsham

An exciting opportunity now exists for a Trainee Agricultural Service Manager at our Horsham depot in West Sussex. Reporting to the Group Service Manager, the role involves assisting in the day-to-day running of our busy service department.

Sales Administration Assistant - Micheldever

We're looking for a highly organised and competent administrator, preferably with experience in transport logistics and/or vehicle dealerships to report into and support the Sales Administration Manager. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Micheldever, near Winchester, Hampshire.

A background in farming/agriculture is not essential but would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the sales administration process
  • Helping with data input to CRM database
  • Co-ordination of company hire & demonstration fleet
  • Maintaining company vehicle records, MOT & Servicing records etc.
  • Liaising directly with customers re deliveries and other support functions
  • Handle overspill of Sales Telephone Calls and sales enquiries
  • Filing/scanning and other general administration duties.
  • Labelling and distribution of monthly bulletin
  • Applications and control of New Holland Service Plus & JCB Premier Cover
  • Liaison with DVLA registration of new vehicles.
  • Maintenance of used vehicle registration records for all depots
  • Maintenance of Oakes company vehicle records
  • Warranty registrations
  • Logistics - Planning delivery and collection of tractors & equipment for the group. Maintenance of HGV records & tests
