This full-time role will primarily support our Agricultural Parts Store. The person would be required to serve customers face to face and over the telephone, also to provide parts and technical advice to our on-site workshop and mobile technicians. IT literacy is essential as the role requires stock items to be managed through our own in-house computer system. The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail and be a great communicator at all levels.

Sales Trainee (Horsham)

Oakes Bros is seeking a dynamic, competent and highly motivated individual for the position of Sales Trainee. Operating out of our Horsham depot you would be support/selling a wide range of new and used agricultural machinery. This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning successful team and build a long-term career within the company. Although no previous sales experience is necessary a strong knowledge of Agriculture is desirable.

The role will be predominantly office based for the for the 12-24 months building knowledge, skills and support the existing sales team. Once the training has been completed successfully a territory will be allocated along with a company car.

Workshop Manager - Horsham Depot

A fantastic opportunity for a workshop manager based in our Horsham Depot. 

Oakes Bros is seeking a dynamic, competent, experienced & highly motivated person for the position of Workshop Manager at our Horsham Depot. This role involves; an effective and profitable management of a busy Service Department ensuring key KPIs including customer satisfaction, utilisation and warranty are met at all times, as well as a strong focus on team leadership and selling the departments services to a wide variety of external customers. 

The ideal applicant will possess the following; 
- Good customer relation skills built from previous experience in a demanding customer facing role. 
- Some management or supervisory experience is desirable. 
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal diplomatically with customers during busy periods. 
- An appropriate technical background is preferable within the agricultural machinery sector, although a construction or groundcare machinery background would be considered. 
- Good sense of initiative with a multitasking approach. 
- Excellent problem-solving skills. 
- Administratively highly organised, with a proactive approach to developing and maintaining systems and process to further enhance departmental efficiency and profitability.
